Welcome to my rainbow universe.
I have taking a tiny corner of the universe to add a splash of color, spread some confetti and to make you smile and remind you of... To be exactly who you are, dare to follow your dreams and to choose the life you love <3
Her er interviewet:
Your girls are really cute. What is their ethnicity? 1/2 Korean, 1/4 Russian, 1/8 Norwegian and 1/8 Italian.
How can you blog so often? Aren’t you busy, you know, conducting business and taking care of the kids? I usually blog late at night, often between 12-2am and it helps me reflect on the day. I take so many photos and need somewhere to put them, plus I guess I have a lot to say. This surprises even me.
Why did you start your blog? What gave you the idea?
I started the blog as soon as we thought about starting the business. I wanted a place to document the process – recipe testing, packaging ideas, business name and all the other milestones along the way. As the business becomes more established, the blog content has been more about juggling family life and business life here in NYC. It’s been a wonderful space to reflect on our days.
Was it difficult to decide whether you should share pictures and stories of your kids or not?
Our life is so about our kids that it was not a difficult decision.
Have you ever experienced anything bad because of your blog? Such as comments, obstacles etc?
Most people have been really supportive, but there are rare occasions where you get a negative comment. You do your best to ignore them because it’s not really fair to judge someone based on a very small slice of life that they choose to share with the world. You just have to remember that they just don’t know you at all and not to take it personally. If you choose to open yourself up on the blog, you should be prepared for all comments.
Has the blog done something greatly for your advantage?
Yes, it’s been a great marketing tool for the business and it’s been great to have the whole process documented for reference. Our blog readers keep us going too and it’s nice to connect with people on that level, whether they relate to what you are going through, have advice and suggestions, or get inspired by your words. It’s all a nice feeling.
Do you ever feel like quitting the blog?
Never. I need to do this.
Does your kids know about the blog? How do they react when you are
They don’t really know about it – they’re not old enough to understand what it is really. They’re quite used to being photographed, but the 6 year old is starting to get a bit self conscious and run away from the camera. It will be a sad day when they no longer want to be photographed.
Do you ever sleep? I have chronic insomnia, but yes, sometimes.
Klik her for at komme til deres blog.
